Lords of Waterdeep is a board game of intrigue, shifting resources, and secretive schemes in the most fantastic metropolis of the Forgotten Realms. The powerful lords of the city contend for control of Waterdeep, the City of Splendors. Behind the gleaming facade of tall buildings and winding streets, dark intrigues and shady back alley dealings play out, leaving the city's treasures and resources ripe for plunder.

In this fast paced game of constantly changing fortunes, you take on the role of a Lord of Waterdeep. Through your Agents, you recruit Adventurers and send them on Quests designed to win favor and spread your influence throughout the city. Expand your treasury, purchase Buildings, assign Agents - choose your actions wisely and you can become the supreme Lord of Waterdeep.

Review: In Lords of Waterdeep, player with the most points at the end of the game wins. The main way to get points is by doing quests. Every player begins with two quests and during the game you can get more. Send your agents to the different part of the City to hire your adventurers and send your adventurers on your quests to earn points.

There?s a lot of decision making in the game but it is relatively short and easy to learn. I love the theme in this game and there is enough interaction to make me want to play again and again and again.
