Don't you hate that feeling you get when you look at a game, and it looks interesting, it sounds interesting, but you're just not sure if it will be interesting? We sure hate that feeling. That's why we have over 200 open games in store for our customers to try out. Just grab a game, grab a table, and play, absolutely free! Finally you get to try out that game to help you decide if you want to own it. But our open games are not just for that! Feel free to come into the store and play a game any time! Bring your friends and family along to share the fun. Playing games is a fantastic way to get together and have a great time.

Sometimes you may not have the time to play a game in the store, or would rather try out the game at home. Or perhaps you need more time to play the game before you decide if it's a keeper or not. In these cases, our Game Rental service is for you.
Just select a game and try it out at home for 3 days and 2 nights, for only 20% of the value of the game (a full deposit is required). If you decide that you like the game and would like to purchase it, we'll exchange the rental copy for a brand new copy and discount our rental fee from the price.

Games are no fun if you don't have anyone to play them with! If you would like to be part of a gaming group, we can help. We have a list of gaming groups in the local area that are looking for more members. Every gaming group usually has differing tastes on the types of games that they like to play, so just take a look at the list of groups and find one that matches your interests, and get playing!
If there are no current gaming groups that play the sorts of games that you like, and you would like to start a new group, just let us know and we can add a listing to help you find other people with similar interests.
We regularly hold tournaments in store for various games such as Magic: The Gathering, and others. There is a small entrance fee required to enter tournaments, and prizes vary based on the tournament and game being played.

We are proud to announce our latest service, Gift Registry! Customers can register their "cravings" to make it easier for others to buy the things they want. Our Gift Registry is a list of games and puzzles that the store keeps track of. As people buy things on your list, the store crosses them off, so others who shop later will not duplicate gifts. Get what you want without having to ask!
A large portion of popular games come from Europe, and usually include instructions only in english. If you have a game with english rules, and you need a french translation, we can help you out!

There are a lot of great games out there, and some of them are more complex for others. At Craving for a Game, we want you to enjoy your gaming experience as much as possible. To us, that means playing the game, not scouring the rules.
We have a large selection of Game Guides prepared by our staff. They provide information on quick setup instructions and quick rule and turn summaries, to help you get playing faster. And they're free!
