The Ultimate Showdown is a game of tandem storytelling and "one upping" one's opponent with wits and imagination as the primary weapons of warfare. The supreme goal is to play a character, event, circumstance etc. that the opponent cannot trump. What is played in only limited by the cards in hand and the players imagination. Be it an unstoppable robot, heroic superhero, fast spreading virus, fearsome dragon, world destroying device, conquering aliens political maneuverings, so on and so forth. The only limit in this game is what the players mind can conjure up.
Game Days are the first opportunity for you to play Standard on a global scale with the newest cards. Standard - swiss format, DCI sanctioned, with top 8 players play-off.
$4 entrance fee. Number of players equals to number of packs as prizes.
Every participant, while supplies last, will receive an Avacyn Restored promo card. The Top 8 players also each receive an exclusive full-art prize card, after the swiss round.
