Steam Barons is the first release using the Real Steam Brand mark and expands Steam in many ways. There is a whole new way to play Steam; instead of players only running a single company they now compete for ownership of the various companies with the primary shareholder in each company deciding the actions of that company that turn. As the game progresses the fortunes of the various companies will fluctuate, it is up to you to decide when to invest and when to cash in your shares. The Steam Barons stock-market rules changes the game dramatically, with player now buying and selling shares in each of the six companies. Steam Barons is not a complete game, it requires ownership of Steam in order to play.
Game Days are the first opportunity for you to play Standard on a global scale with the newest cards. Standard - swiss format, DCI sanctioned, with top 8 players play-off.
$4 entrance fee. Number of players equals to number of packs as prizes.
Every participant, while supplies last, will receive an Avacyn Restored promo card. The Top 8 players also each receive an exclusive full-art prize card, after the swiss round.
