Seven Seals is a trick-taking card game. Players are dealt 13 cards in 5 different suits. Starting with the leading player, the player takes the disks of the colours that they think that they are going to win, depending on the cards in their hand. Once everyone has taken disks, the starting player leads and everyone must follow suit. Highest card played in that suit wins the trick and that player removes the disk of that colour. If the person doesn't have that colour disk then that player earns a black disk. Once all the cards are played, the player count their score. For each colour disks remaining in front of them, they earn 2 points each and for each black disks, 3 points. Seven Seals is played in many rounds and the player with the least amount points wins. One of my (Buck Lum) favorite trick-taking game. The German name for this game is called "Die Sieben Siegel".
