In Qwirkle Cubes, there are six colours and six shapes. Each die is one colour but has all six shapes on each of its side. Players starts with six cubes at the beginning of the game, which they roll all of them to start the game. All dice are visible to all players. At the beginning of your turn, you may choose to roll any number of your dice once. Then you must place at least one of your die, on any roll or column. If the row/column is colour, then they all have to have the same colour but different shapes. If the row/column is shape, then they all have to be the same shape but different colour. A Qwirkle (a bonus six points) is when all six "things" been played on the row/column.
I had a chance to play Qwirkle and Qwirkle Cubes. Qwirkle is one of Craving for a Game best selling game. Qwirkle Cubes is more strategic than Qwirkle, with more choices on your turn. Both are great games and fun to play.
