This game includes an innovative deck of action cards which depicts a chess piece and how it moves. The gameboard is two-sided. One side shows you where to place the pieces to start the game and the other is a standard chessboard. There are also two variations using the cards that even experienced chess players will find exciting - a perfect change of pace from the "serious" game.

Game Days are the first opportunity for you to play Standard on a global scale with the newest cards. Standard - swiss format, DCI sanctioned, with top 8 players play-off. $4 entrance fee. Number of players equals to number of packs as prizes.
Every participant, while supplies last, will receive an Dark Ascension promo card. The Top 8 players also each receive an exclusive full-art prize card, after the swiss round.
