Play politics in the courts of Renaissance Italy. Work diligently or buy your way to power, enjoy the beautiful art - and the thrill of beating your friends to getting the credit for it. Help the master complete his greatest works. In Michelangelo, you play an apprentice to the great master Michelangelo, helping him complete his great works of art. At the same time, you must work your way to the top of the social ladder, currying favor with the families who commission his work. Strive to get credit (even when it isn't due), delay the projects of your rivals, even buy your way to power. With separate tracks for player scores and family scores, there are ample opportunities for negotiation and diplomacy.

Michelangelo includes project cards with full color images of some of the master's greatest works. The sight of the beautiful paintings, the lifelike sculpture and the thrill of snatching power away from your friends will keep you at each others throats. Should you work on the most valuable project? Try to make a quick buck by working on the fastest one? Perhaps you should ignore the work entirely and play politics to control the families, only the best apprentice will shine in victory.

Game Days are the first opportunity for you to play Standard on a global scale with the newest cards. Standard - swiss format, DCI sanctioned, with top 8 players play-off.

$4 entrance fee. Number of players equals to number of packs as prizes.

Every participant, while supplies last, will receive an Avacyn Restored promo card. The Top 8 players also each receive an exclusive full-art prize card, after the swiss round.
