In Ido, the number of blocks in play determines just how far one can move along the route they have planned. When the frame is shifted, the paths and the blocks move, leaving a player's plans behind. In this game everything moves. Paths, that you carefully planned can disappear when your opponent shifts the frame. Your blocks can even be shifted off the playing field! This is especially annoying as your move is based on the number of blocks you have on the field. Only one who plans well and is flexible enough to manage the constantly changing geometric environment will be able to move his colourful blocks from his starting point to his target across the board.
