Cockroach Poker is a game of chance and bluffing. Players receive cards in their hands. The player that collects four of the same kind of insects/animal face up, loses the game. A player starts by playing a card from his or her hand face down, saying a kind of insect/animal, and passes it to the player to the left. The player can challenge the player and either say that the player was telling the truth or was lying. If correct, then the player that passed the card places face up in from of them. If the player was wrong then that player places face up in their play area. However the player can accept the cards, looks at it, and passes that card to the player to the left face down and saying a kind of insect/animal, and repeat this whole process.
Game Days are the first opportunity for you to play Standard on a global scale with the newest cards. Standard - swiss format, DCI sanctioned, with top 8 players play-off.
$4 entrance fee. Number of players equals to number of packs as prizes.
Every participant, while supplies last, will receive an Avacyn Restored promo card. The Top 8 players also each receive an exclusive full-art prize card, after the swiss round.
