Caylus is a strategy game which has a mix of building, producing, planning, and bargaining - without direct conflict or dice-rolling mechanism. In 1289, to strengthen the borders of the Kingdom of France, King Philip the Fair decided to have a new castle built. For the time being, Caylus is but a humble village, but soon, workers and craftsmen will be flocking by the cartload, attracted by the great prospects. Around the building site, a city is slowing rising up... Your goal is to collect the most points by constructing buildings and by working on the castle of Caylus.
Game Days are the first opportunity for you to play Standard on a global scale with the newest cards. Standard - swiss format, DCI sanctioned, with top 8 players play-off.
$4 entrance fee. Number of players equals to number of packs as prizes.
Every participant, while supplies last, will receive an Avacyn Restored promo card. The Top 8 players also each receive an exclusive full-art prize card, after the swiss round.
