Players have to act as building principals and enlist the help of experienced master builders and workmen to build unique water supply line: the Roman aqueducts. The longest aqueducts win the greatest praise so players need to show skillful planning to achieve success and win the game. Aqua Romana was a nominee for Spiel des Jahres in 2006.
