In the year 1503... a new island world has been discovered. Brave pioneers explore unchanted islands in great ships, finding bountiful lands that yiels valuable resources while they established homes and become the first settlers of this new world. Soon, their isolated cabins grow into villages. Before long, they begin to establish trade agreements with the inhabitants of neighboring islands, ensuring the flow of commodities and imports. The island world begins to thrive, the inhabitants gaining prosperity and wealth as they become skilled in the art of trade. But this seemingly ideal life is treacherous - wildfires threaten the rapidly growing colonies and the seas hide gold-greed intent on booty...
